So, here's the first batch of pictures of stuff...

This first picture is a standard thing here in Mainland China: Chinglish. It's a common thing to see all sorts of english stuff that makes NO SENSE. 100% expectation is on the side of a restaurant in a posh section of town. 100% expectation, 0% fulfillment;)

The next picture is a picture of West lake (xi hu). There is a really, REALLY common saying in china: In heaven there is Paradise, on earth there is Hangzhou and Suzhou. Hangzhou, thus, is one of the most popular internal tourist destinations in the land. It's beautiful.

I'm blogging for the next 3.5 months in China and figured I'd blog from a different address to commemorate the journey. I've been on Mainland China for 5 days and though I haven't yet committed anything to Blog, I've taken lots of pictures and surely, i'll be posting some new ones and talking about fun stuff!!!
